Every Ozone Wash™ clean includes a before/after water test across 6 parameters. Here's what each one actually measures, in plain terms, using real results from an independent NABL-accredited lab report as examples.
| Parameter | What it measures | What a good result looks like |
|---|---|---|
| TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) | The total concentration of dissolved minerals, salts, and organic matter in the water. | Lower is better for taste and clarity. One real report showed 746 mg/L before treatment, down to 96 mg/L after, well within the BIS limit of 500 mg/L. |
| Turbidity | How cloudy the water is, a direct visual indicator of suspended particles. | Under 1 NTU is excellent. The same report showed 4.2 NTU before, dropping to under 1.0 NTU after. |
| pH | How acidic or alkaline the water is. | Ideally between 6.5–8.5, outside this range can indicate contamination or plumbing issues. |
| ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential) | A real-time measure of the water's disinfecting power, how effectively it can neutralize contaminants. | A higher ORP reading during treatment confirms the ozone disinfection is actively working, in real time, not just assumed. |
| ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) | A biological cleanliness measurement, ATP is present in all living cells, so an ATP reading tells you how much microbial activity remains on a tested surface. | Lower readings (measured in RLU, relative light units) mean less biological contamination remaining. |
| Electrical Conductivity | How well the water conducts electricity, correlates closely with dissolved salt/mineral content. | The same report showed 1129 µS/cm before, down to 173 µS/cm after, an 85% reduction. |
Why we test twice, not once
A single "after" reading tells you the final number, but a before/after pair tells you the actual improvement, which is the number that proves the clean did something, rather than just asserting it did. This is why every certificate shows both.
